Manos Con Centro

MANOS CON CENTRO is a perfect opportunity for students to discover the power they have to make a difference in the world. We merge service learning and community service to create an experience that allows children to perform hands-on helping activities and reflect thoughtfully on their work. Centro is an agency in Minneapolis which provides a range of services to the Latino community. You will be able to choose many ways to help in the pre-school, food shelf, community gardens, clothing distribution center, playground or offices. You will increase your knowledge of the Latino community and have a chance to practice—or learn!—some Spanish. Class limit is 12.  $230.
