Thanks to the planting day volunteers!
Over 60 FSM parents, sudents, alumni, staff and friends worked together all day Saturday, August 29 digging, planting, and mulching to move one step closer to completing our new grounds project.
We planted trees, shrubs and perennials around the newly designed seating circle, grass berms and planting beds in the front and sides of the building.
Under construction are the fence and decks on the west side, the back waterplay area and the front seating walls. This fall, FSM middle school students will work with science teacher Steve to learn about and plant the prairie sections and rain gardens.
We may need some help with final planting so stayed tuned.
