Middle Schoolers at Wolf Ridge Environmental Learning Center
Friends School of Minnesota's 7th and 8th graders have returned from a week at Wolf Ridge Environmental Learning Center on the North Shore of Lake Superior. This annual trip provides our middle school students time to get to know each other in new ways as they live in dorms; conquer the high ropes courses together; and study cultural history, biological, environmental and earth sciences.
"We are always excited when it time for us to go to Wolf Ridge with the 7/8 grade. This is a trip that is wonderful for us as a community and that helps the students to think about themselves and their environment in new and thought-provoking ways. The trip, which is 5 days away from home, is always a growth-filled trip for the students and one that helps them continue to think and grow throughout the year."
