Friends School is committed to providing students with appropriate
technology in the classroom. Presently the school has an average
of about three computers per classroom. All computers in use
are 386SX to Pentium grade Windows 3.1 or Windows 95, or Macintosh
SE, LC or PowerPC computers. We are always anxious to upgrade
our computers.
Presently we are soliciting donations of the following equipment:
PC Compatible computers, Pentium II 300 or better,
with at least 64 Meg RAM and Windows 98; Windows 98SE, 2000,
XP machines
VGA or better color monitors
Macintosh PowerPC G3 or better with at least 64
Meg of RAM; PowerPC G4 and/or IMAC machines
Macintosh color monitors
Ethernet Network Cards and Hubs, Windows 95 Networking
Software (Windows for Workgroups, Lantastic)
Friends School is a non-profit organization, and donations
in kind are often eligible for tax deductions.
We will pick up equipment in the Twin Cities Metro Area,
and we will consider paying shipping for equipment on our
