Spanish Curriculum

The Spanish program not only teaches students to speak a foreign language, it helps them see the value of it. Student achievement is developed in four areas: listening, speaking, reading and writing. We also seek to increase knowledge of the culture of the countries in which the language is spoken and to support the school’s multicultural curriculum. Students learn through music, dances, children’s literature, art, videos, theatre and games. All of these activities foster a strong working vocabulary, understanding and pronunciation of Spanish.
