Friends School offers instruction to all students in Spanish,
music and physical education beginning in kindergarten.
Spanish classes are held three times a week for all grades.
Music classes consist
of two choirs for younger and older children, and instrumental
lessons including drums and other percussion instruments,
and tin whistles. Students are also able to take
private
or small group lessons for an additional fee at the school
after the end of the normal school day.
Physical education classes
are held twice per week, and emphasize developmentally appropriate
locomotion skills and team activities.
