FSM offers a middle school sports program with 5/6 and 7/8 grade, co-ed teams in soccer, basketball, and volleyball. In 2009-10, 89% of our middle school students participated in one or more of the soccer, basketball, and volleyball seasons!

  • Soccer begins in September and continues through October.
  • Basketball begins in November and continues through February.
  • Volleyball begins in February and continues through April.
  • In addition, our intramural, informal Running Club meets twice a week April through the end of school, and concludes with a parent-student fun run.

We are a part of a Twin Cities sports league with other private and public schools committed to positive, enjoyable, sports experiences. The league is based on the principles of mixed-gender teams, equal playing time, and good sportsmanship.
