Tuition Aid

Friends School is committed to an economically diverse student body and welcomes the opportunity to provide financial support to families who need it to help send their children to the school. About 20% of our gross tuition is devoted to tuition aid and that money supports 31% of our student body. Learn more about tuition aid.

2010-2011 Tuition by Grade

  • Kindergarten – Fourth $11,640
  • Fifth and Sixth $11,980
  • Seventh and Eighth $12,750

A non-refundable deposit equal to 10% of the year’s tuition is due within two weeks of the date of acceptance. This is applied toward the year’s tuition.

Three Payment Plan: Tuition (less deposit) is split into three payments, due June 15, September 15 and January 15.

Nine Payment Plan: Tuition is due by the 15th of each month from June through February.

Automatic Payment Plan: Tuition is withdrawn from your bank account on the 15th of each month in 9 payments June through February, or 12 payments June through May.

Fees for Payment Plans: A $10 per month administrative fee is added to each payment for the 3, 9 & 12-month plans.

Extended Day Fees

The regular contract and release day rate is $5.74 per hour billed on the half hour. The drop-in rate is $6.24 per hour billed on the half hour.

Students receiving 65% or more of tuition assistance pay 50% of extended day fees.

Sports and Club Fees

Rates vary from $25 – $150 per season, depending upon the number of times the group meets. Scholarships are available for these groups.
