Jeannette has worked at FSM since 2006. She has a B.S. in liberal arts and an M.Ed. from the University of Bridgeport.

Jeannette is attended the NAIS Diversity Institute and is involved in CEU’s special education services.

As a professional educator and parent, Jeannette wants “an education that will lead to the greatest number of choices for children and that is deeply rooted in the belief that God is present in each of us, and that life is gift.”

Jeannette is also an FSM parent. She loves camping, spinning, knitting, cooking, and renovating her 100-year-old family home.

“Friends School of Minnesota provides an environment that allows children to express their thoughts and feelings through a wide array of creative and academic options. At Friends School, children begin to recognize their creative potential and learn how to utilize their inner voices to connect with others with love, courage, and compassion. I believe Friends School helps our children see themselves in relationship to the global community by providing them with the opportunity to ask their own questions and helping them understand multiple and varied perspectives.”

One of Jeannette’s favorite quotes:

“Each second we live in a new and unique moment of the universe, a moment that never was before and never will be again. And what do we teach our children? When will we teach them what they are: You are a marvel. You are unique. In all the world there is no other child exactly like you.” Pable Casals
