Janet Thometz First and Second Grade Teacher

Janet has taught at FSM since 1997. She has a B.A. in Spanish and elementary education from the University of St. Thomas. 

Prior to teaching first/second grade, Janet taught third/fourth grade at Friends School for 10 years and fourth/fifth grade at St. Paul Academy for one year.

Over the years Janet has served on numerous committees within the school including professional development for teachers, spiritual life and environmental education. She served as the Conflict Resolution Outreach Coordinator, leading workshops across the nation on the use of conflict resolution in schools.
