Gaylyn Bicking First and Second Grade Teacher

Gaylyn has taught at Friends School of Minnesota since 1988 and was our first teacher —of all twelve students! She has a B.A. in elementary education from Michigan State University.

Gaylyn is a parent of an FSM alumna. She loves to bike, walk, and travel. She often spends part of her summer in Central America. She believes that FSM is special because it has created a caring community where children, parents, and staff form lifelong friendships. “FSM is a community that takes care of each other.”
