Elaine Steinbach Front Office Assistant

Elaine assists Annamary in the afternoons with office support.

Elaine has a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Central Missouri State University and taught grades one and two in the early 1970’s. She went on to develop a lengthy career in the arts and crafts industry working for companies such as LeeWards and Michaels Stores.  She and her family lived all over the country during her 25 year career in marketing.

Her interest in arts and crafts continued into retirement.  She taught Art at Friends School Summer Program in 2008. She also teaches art to her grand-daughter every day while providing some hours of daycare. Her daughter, Rebecca, teaches Humanities here at Friends School.

Her hobbies include sewing, quilting, gardening, reading, and enjoying art museums, theatre, travel and her book club. She works in her church’s education program.
